The Ouatine & Cumulus Cocoon was specially designed to welcome your baby from birth. They will be comfortably settled in a flexed position, close to the ideal fetal position for their development, in a confined space that will reassure them, just like in their mother's womb.
They provide reference points for the newborn, with contact at the head and feet as in utero, which has a very soothing effect on the baby. The sides of the cocoon will also help them keep their hands close to their face to self-soothe and positively stimulate themselves. The cocoons have a belt that further secures the baby. And finally, they have a small hood/pocket where parents can place a rolled-up fabric carrying their comforting scent to enhance this well-being (fabric to be renewed every 48 hours for optimal effect).

The "Size 1" Cocoon is optimal for the development of newborns up to 5 kg. As your baby grows and needs more freedom of movement, they should then move to the Size 2 Cocoon.
